Elizabeth Jane Blazynski

June 8, 1926September 2, 2021

Elizabeth Jane (Glass), "Betty" Blazynski went with the angels on September 2, 2021 after an extended illness. She was born in 1926 in Chester, PA and graduated from Chester High School where she met her husband of 64 years, Earl, who preceded her in passing. She is survived by a son, Larry (wife, Barbara) , of Phoenixville, PA and a daughter, Christine Blazynski (Husband Daniel L Hartl, PhD) of Belmont, MA, grandsons Andrew and Matthew Blazynski, Christopher Hartl, and a great granddaughter Elizabeth Hartl. She was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Bradley) Glass.

Mrs. Blazynski worked for various Chester employers before becoming a mother, then resumed working after the children finished school. She worked many years at Chester Apparel, a high fashion women's apparel factory making samples for New York fashion shows as bookkeeper and payroll manager. Mr. and Mrs. Blazynski relocated to central Florida in 1982, first residing in Deltona, before moves to DeBary and finally Leesburg.

Her life was devoted to her husband, children, and grandsons. She made sure that there was a family vacation annually whether it be to Ocean City, NJ, Florida, Williamsburg, upstate New York, or visits to colleges. College was her priority for her children. In retirement, she and her husband travelled to England, Hawaii, Seattle, San Francisco, and throughout the Midwest and western national parks.

She was a member of St. Paul's parish in Leesburg. Her interests included reading, gardening, and cooking for her family. Visitors from PA would always make a detour to her door while travelling to Disney World.
